What should we do if a player is injured during a game?
Injuries happen, but we want to make sure everyone is ok before they play again.
If you or a player on your team is injured during a game, please refer to the best practice below:
Player is able to leave the court and is not in distress:
The player should assess if they are able to continue. If not, or if a referee deems the player unfit to play, please notify your on-site commissioner or staff and seek medical attention.
Player is able to leave the court, but displays signs of distress:
Please inform a Brodie Staff member immediately. The Brodie staff and players will determine if an ambulance is required.
Player is not able to leave the court and requires an ambulance:
Please inform a Brodie Staff member immediately and they will call the ambulance for you. If immediate assistance is not available, players/fans should take action to call an ambulance ASAP.
